Tribal Group is proud to announce that the University of Northampton has selected SITS:Vision as its Student Information Management System (SIMS). SITS:Vision is specifically designed for higher education providers to manage and improve every aspect of the student journey.
The University’s mission is to transform students’ lives through sharing knowledge, supporting creativity and enabling students to make positive differences to change the future of their communities and beyond. Established as a University with taught and research degree awarding powers in 2005, the University of Northampton’s educational roots stretch back over many years through its antecedent institutions originally focused on Arts, Technology, Leather, Education and Health. In 2012 it became the first university in the UK to be named as a Changemaker Campus, and relocated to its new purpose-built Waterside Campus in the town centre in 2018.
The University of Northampton is also one of the few universities in the UK to have been awarded a Gold ranking in the Government’s Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). This achievement means they are ranked amongst the top universities in the UK for teaching. The TEF panel judged that:
“…the University of Northampton delivers consistently outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for its students. It is of the highest quality found in the UK.”
Tribal’s solution will help the University of Northampton to continue to deliver an excellent experience for their students, throughout their University journey. The strategic focus for the University has student experience as its heart, with an aim for technology that simplifies, modernises, and personalises the interactions between the University and their students. SITS:Vision is an intuitive system, that will streamline processes to suit the needs of the students.
