The University of Exeter has taken the lead in adopting the innovative Higher Education Full-Service subscription.
The University of Exeter's trailblazing approach reinforces its dedication to digital progress and top-tier technology access for its students and staff. This strategic development builds on a flourishing partnership with Tribal, spanning 24 years, and emphasises the shared vision of harnessing cutting-edge technology to transform educational potential.
In October 2023, the University of Exeter commissioned Tribal to migrate SITS to the Tribal Cloud. Reaching completion in just nine months, the project paved the way for the continued strengthening of the partnership, making Tribal’s new Higher Education Full-Service early-adopter programme of instant interest.
Partnership with critical suppliers like Tribal forms the bedrock of our ability to respond to the challenges facing the sector. As organisations we cannot afford to stand still, and the Higher Education Full-Service subscription will allow us to super-charge our ‘Strategy 2030’, stay ahead of the curve and provide an unparalleled educational experience for our communities.”
Nathan Burden, Director of IT Services at the University of Exeter
The programme will empower the University of Exeter with significant advantages for their student experience, having chosen to adopt Tribal’s market-leading Student Record System, SITS, coupled with cutting-edge Student Support & Wellbeing and Timetabling solutions.
We are delighted to build on an already strong partnership with the University of Exeter – and have been inspired by their transformative vision. Welcoming the first of a limited number of ‘early-adopters’ marks a significant milestone for Tribal as we roll out our Higher Education Full-Service offering, and paves the way for others to follow.”
Mark Pickett, Chief Executive Officer, Tribal Group plc
Unlocking the full potential of existing SITS implementations, the Higher Education Full-Service subscription provides universities with a pathway to reduce the total cost of ownership for their student record system whilst improving the experience for both students and staff.
