Tribal customers win big at the 2022 UCISA Awards

Tribal is proud to see many valued customers winning awards for their work transforming technology and digital solutions. 

Wednesday 30th March saw the UCISA Awards Ceremony. The awards were presented during the UCISA22 Leadership Conference dinner and were a wonderful occasion to celebrate both institutions and individuals' innovation, hard work, and achievements across the sector. 

The Awards focus on celebrating the achievements and innovation of staff working in or supporting technology, and the application of digital solutions that transform the students, academics and professional staff. 

We are thrilled to see that so many of the winners of 2022 UCISA Awards are Tribal customers. To be working with so many transformative higher education institutions is such an honour: 

Transformation Award: University of Kent.  

The UCISA Transformation Award commemorates institutional revolutions achieved through IT. 

Nominees: King’s College London, Queen Mary University London 

Sustainable Digital Project or Initiative: University of Kent.  

The UCISA Award for Sustainable Digital Project or Initiative Praises institutions that create innovative progress for their institution that demonstrates consideration for the future and future outcomes.  

Nominees: Cardiff University, Edinburgh Napier University 

Supporting Excellence in Learning, Teaching and Research: Lancaster University.  

The UCISA Award for Supporting Excellence in Learning, Teaching and Research distinguishes digital innovations that have a transformative effect on learning, teaching and research activities.  

Nominees: King’s College London, University of Dundee 

Rising Star Award: Suraj Uturaju, University of West London.  

The UCISA Rising Star Award identifies a promising potential leader in digital technology adoption in the sector.  

Nominees: Dhani McDiarmid, St Andrews University; Katie Wilde, University of Aberdeen; Richard Cross, University of Southampton 

CIO of the Year: John Hemingway, Durham University. 

The UCISA CIO/IT Director of the Year Award celebrates the impact on IT by a senior leader demonstrating vision, positive transformation and professional excellence 

Nominees: Nick Leake, King's College London; David Telford, University of Stirling.
