Wednesday 30th March saw the UCISA Awards Ceremony. The awards were presented during the UCISA22 Leadership Conference dinner and were a wonderful occasion to celebrate both institutions and individuals' innovation, hard work, and achievements across the sector.
The Awards focus on celebrating the achievements and innovation of staff working in or supporting technology, and the application of digital solutions that transform the students, academics and professional staff.

Transformation Award: University of Kent.
The UCISA Transformation Award commemorates institutional revolutions achieved through IT.

The UCISA Award for Supporting Excellence in Learning, Teaching and Research distinguishes digital innovations that have a transformative effect on learning, teaching and research activities.

Rising Star Award: Suraj Uturaju, University of West London.
The UCISA Rising Star Award identifies a promising potential leader in digital technology adoption in the sector.

CIO of the Year: John Hemingway, Durham University.
The UCISA CIO/IT Director of the Year Award celebrates the impact on IT by a senior leader demonstrating vision, positive transformation and professional excellence
