Empower 2024 – That's a wrap!

Posted by Tribal Group

Last week, Sheffield Hallam University hosted Empower – Tribal's largest customer engagement event of the year. The support from our customers and partners made this year's conference one of the very best. Tribal would like to thank Prof. Liz Mossop, Vice Chancellor, and all at Sheffield Hallam for their hospitality.

2024 saw a coming together for our Further and Vocational Education and Higher Education experts. By expanding the scope of the event, over 300 people from all sectors had the chance to network, learn and collaborate through shared problems and opportunities.

Delegates were treated to over 40 individual sessions across two days, including a dozen delivered by customers. These sessions, in particular, highlight how embedded Tribal solutions are in the education sector and that they underpin student success in the UK and beyond. A huge thank you to Sheffield Hallam University, South & City College Birmingham, Bristol University, Architectural Association School of Architecture, University of Huddersfield, NPTC Group of Colleges, Swansea University, Nelson & Colne College, University of Gibraltar and University College London, Jisc/Hesa and Ucas for their insightful presentations.

Empower 24 saw another first as we hosted the Celebration of Success Awards and Gala Dinner. We celebrated those of you who have gone above and beyond. Honouring the many individuals, teams and institutions who have made significant contributions across various areas within HE and FE. The stories we heard are an inspiration to us all, and set a high bar for future success. Over 250 people celebrated at the majestic Cutler's Hall, with a three-course dinner, awards ceremony and a live band. The awards and this year's winners are:
