Tribal Group are proud to have supported Barnet Southgate College in making significant changes, given the tightening of margins in the sector.
Barnet and Southgate College is a large college in London with over 13,000 students, delivering more than 20 subjects across three main campuses. Aware of the lag between the emergence of new technologies and the skills needed to maximise them, the college has recently invested over £30m in its campuses to enable students and staff to work in state-of-the-art facilities, and ensure that students receive industry specific skills to lead them to the right job.
The college felt a fresh review of their own performance against other colleges would help inform their planning process going forward.
Ian Rule, Finance Director at Barnet Southgate College said:
“The approach Tribal employed was efficient and effective with them doing a lot of the heavy lifting, which helped our internal teams to accommodate the process, coming as it did straight after completion of the financial statements. Draft results were supplied within three weeks of their visit, which allowed my team plenty of time to review, refine and digest the outputs before Tribal presented project findings to the executive team. Along with some new messages brought to light, the process confirmed many of our expectations and the executive team appreciated the objectivity of Tribal’s voice. The amount of information provided by the analysis is substantial, but the presentation delivered by Tribal was focused and engaging. We look forward to our next project”
