Tribal Cloud Readiness Assessment

Your first step towards migrating your SIS to the cloud

We cover everything you need to prepare for a successful migration to the cloud.

The Cloud Readiness Assessment is the first step towards cloud migration. Tailored to your institution, it covers everything you need to prepare for a successful migration to the cloud.

Through a detailed and collaborative exploration of your current system, we help validate the business case, while developing a robust migration strategy ensuring you know
what needs to be done, by whom and by when.

Develop a detailed
migration strategy
and plan

The Cloud Readiness Assessment includes a series of workshops delivered in a format that suits you and your team. Each session has a specific target audience based on three strands:

  1. Strategy
  2. Integration and reporting
  3. Operations, security and networking

Each strand consists of two sessions with detailed
agendas to ensure the correct attendees. Through this
extensive process, we explore how your current SIS
implementation is run, and detail how that will look after
successful migration to the cloud.

The readiness assessment goes beyond the technical aspects of your system; we also review your existing business practices, integrations, reporting, and more to help identify how they can be enhanced and made more efficient as an integrated part of our cloud services.

Following the workshops, we continue communicating with your teams to explore your current system and processes in even greater detail, ensuring everyone understands what is required for a successful migration.

The output is a detailed report with an agreed implementation plan, with suggestions for further optimisation and possible future developments.

Tribal Cloud Readiness Services for Higher Education

We consider all strategic aspects of the migration including your key aims to develop a detailed plan so that everyone knows what to expect and understands what is required for a successful migration.
We detail all integrations and reporting requirements, ensuring your existing business requirements are supported and identifying how they can be integrated as part of our cloud services.

We take a closer look at security and networking requirements to focus on the technical aspects of the solution and how these will stitch together everything from authentication to interconnectivity.

EXPERIENCE AND A HISTORY OF SUCCESS

It all starts with a comprehensive data-gathering exercise to detail and document your existing implementation, especially your interfaces.

Next, we organise a series of workshops involving all stakeholders, from networking to operations and application support to senior management, as well as technical architects and key experts from Tribal to guide, support and advise you throughout the process.

The benefits of cloud adoption don’t come by default.

How you move and manage your systems in the cloud directly impacts the benefits you will see.
