What does the best student engagement app look like from a technology point of view? Hint: Central to the solution is an integrated private social network. 

The education sector is facing unprecedented challenges as institutions globally have had to adapt to functioning and move much of their delivery online. Technology plays a massive role in supporting the education sector as a whole, not only in teaching, learning and evolving curriculums, but also, how students communicate with their peers, teaching staff and their education provider.  

North East Surrey College of Technology (NESCOT), in Epsom UK, are a Tertiary education provider offering Higher Education, as well as Vocational studies and Apprenticeships.  Their mission is to be the college of choice for their students, employers, local community and staff. A mission that they are living every day.  

Tribal recently met with staff and students at the college recently to see how they are using app technology to forge new relationships and break down communication barriers in a time of huge change for their students. 

NESCOT, a vocational and higher education college in Epsom UK, is a tech-first college. They have truly embraced the need to communicate with their students on a familiar, interactive and instant channel. We found out first-hand how the college uses its NESCOMMS app (a branded version of Tribal's Student Engage app), when we spent the day with them.
