The Funding Batch Export module makes this fundamental process incredibly swift and incredibly accurate.
Simply choose the time to collate the data and then generate the file for upload. For Welsh providers, the correct combination of files is generated for sending to the DFES. For English providers the module creates the required XML file format which means that it can be merged with other XML files using the LIS software available from the SFA.

The Process Designer module uses workflow technology to allow you to easily create your own data entry Wizards, to match or enhance your current administrative procedures.
Via a simple method of ‘drag and drop’, the module allows you to add your own groups of fields/controls to your processes, ensuring you capture your data in a certain order, such as personal information, contact details and programme details.
It also allows you to interact with email, mail merge, the reports library, etc., enabling you to map your complete business process into a Maytas process.
Users are then guided to perform various actions or activities in a structured and consistent order, such as planning visits, attaching assessors or employers and printing ILRs, even sending an email to the learner confirming their successful enrolment.

The Digital Signatures module allows you to completely digitise your processes, cutting the need for paperwork and reducing the time it takes to verify paper forms and claim funding. The Financial Planning module in Maytas now enables you to build the financial plan relating to your allocation directly in Maytas, using its up-to-date, built-in funding formulas, vastly reducing the time taken to produce the initial plan.
It allows the modelling of SFA funding before and during contract commencement. Users can create a profile to measure performance against plan, providing reporting on whether or not the plan is likely to be met and any variances that exist. And because it is pulling in live data from Maytas, you can model ‘what if’ scenarios in moments to report upon how these may affect your overall funding. The Profiling module is a management tool that allows you to generate, compare and report on actual figures against budgeted figures for income, based on learner volumes, achievements or other outcomes.
After the initial budgeting profile figures have been entered, a measurement of performance can be taken at any time, giving you full visibility of your business profile and helping you to monitor the effects of changes to your budgeted figures.
For example, your budgeted figures have predicted 10 new learner starters but your organisation has actually taken on 20 new learner starters; the profile module will show you how this shift will affect your funding profile.
A number of reports are available, to provide a useful overview of the budget vs. actual volumes and values, as well as drill-downs detailing the contents of the summary figures. Using the Report Generator module, you are also able to report on the data generated by the profiling module, with no restrictions on the number of profiles that can be created.

Allowances and Payments
The module stores a your learners’ bank details and their required payment method, e.g. cash, BACS,etc. and enables you to apply maximum allowances to a learner’s records, e.g. £20 travel for five days attendance.
By recording learners’ attendance and non-attendance, a procedure is run within Maytas to calculate the actual required payments to a learner.
Employer contributions and/or learner contributions can also be recorded within the module.
Payments to learners can be viewed on screen and, if necessary, manual adjustments can be made. Payslips are then generated and can be printed.

The flexible module shows you, at a glance, how many units have been completed, a prediction of where funding may run out and where your learners may fall behind. This gives you the opportunity to take additional steps to ensure that any learners that are not on target to achieve their goal are given the support needed to get back on track.
Use the information to produce monitoring reports on overall qualifications. The module also provides you with an easy to analyse list of units and, using the core reports library, view the units completed. At a glance views give red and green visual flags to highlight learners that have completed units, outcomes or qualifications, and importantly, those that have not.
Record additional events, such as tests and exemptions, against a particular qualification unit, and upload electronic certificates and notes to qualifications at all levels.
