The University of Bristol in the UK has, once again, chosen Tribal’s SITS student management system to deliver its Student Lifecycle Support Programme.
In September 1997, the prestigious Russell Group University, University of Bristol implemented SITS:Vision to manage its student information. Fast-forward 18 years and the University went to market to issue a request for tender. After a thorough review of student management information systems, the University once again selected Tribal and the SITS:Vision MIS software as its supplier of choice for the hosted and managed solution.
We want to transform our support for the student lifecycle and replace fragmented systems, improve work processes, and put student and staff users at the heart of our systems and process design. In light of these significant ambitions, we took the opportunity to review the marketplace for both systems and implementation services. After an extensive review, we decided to invest more heavily in SITS:Vision. We will be working closely with Tribal to implement a new, integrated system that supports academic staff and students in a way that we have not been able to do before.
Lynn Robinson, Deputy Registrar and Student Lifecycle Support Programme sponsor.
Bristol is one of the most popular and successful universities in the UK and was ranked within the top 40 universities in the world in the QS World University rankings 2015.
We’re thrilled that the University of Bristol has chosen to extend its long-standing relationship with Tribal and re-implement the SITS:Vision product. We’re very much looking forward to working together closely with the institution to ensure we are delivering a solution that fits perfectly with their wider Student Lifecycle Support Programme. It’s very exciting.
