In its fifth year, this year’s TES Awards Ceremony was definitely not one to miss… and we certainly didn’t!
Colleagues from across Tribal and a selection of guests donned their dinner jackets to attend the glittering award ceremony at the Grosvenor House hotel in central London on 22 April 2016.
More than 100 providers, teams and individuals were shortlisted for the 14 awards and we were thrilled that over half of the nominees in the category of “Outstanding Use of Technology” are supported by Tribal's systems.
The TES awards ceremony was a great night, with a lot of very worthy winners. It was particularly pleasing to see that even in these difficult times, the further education sector continues to show its resilience and excellence, the UK is home to fantastic further education and the awards ceremony was a real testimony to this.

Special mentions go to Tribal customer, Elatt Connected Learning, which took home the employer engagement and training provider of the year awards, as well as the overall FE provider of the year title. Bridgwater College in Somerset was named FE college of the year, while Hereford Sixth Form College became the inaugural recipient of the sixth-form college of the year award. Individual recognition was given to Cathy Walsh, the former principal of Barking and Dagenham College, who won the lifetime achievement award for her commitment to her community and students.
